Following in the great tradition of English legendary cabinet-makers
such as Chippendale and Hepplewhite, Englishman’s uses only the very
best artisan craftsmen. Not only is the quality of our craftsmen the very best, so too is the excellence of our original materials: the finest timber of home grown oak, cherry and alder - the traditional veneers of mahogany, yew wood, walnut and elm. Care and attention to detail is inherent at every stage in the design, manufacture and shipping of all our pieces. Based on traditional English and other European designs from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, the majority of our products are handcrafted and polished in England before being shipped to the USA.
Although the majority of our furniture is fashioned according to well-known designs, we can also make bespoke pieces according to our customers specific requirement. Alongside our handcrafted traditional pieces we also offer a range of true English and French antique pieces.
